Achieve a high level understanding of how the ReusePass program works
HOW IT WORKS

SIGN UP FLOW & REUSEPASS APP
Sign up: Consumers select their campus from the ReusePass website – no app download is required.
Campuses choose which fields to collect during sign up (email, Student ID, and/or SSO).
Access QR Code & Track Activity: On the ReusePass web app, consumers can access their ReusePass QR code (the unique identifier that links them to their check-outs), view what containers they have checked-out, and when containers are due.

SMS NUDGES & RENTAL TIMELINE
We send SMS reminder nudges directly to consumers informing them how to use the program, and on late and failed containers.
One-time messages: consumers receive a one-time welcome message when they sign up and a one-time message explaining the program when they open their first loop.
Recurring messages: consumers receive a late message if the container has not been scanned-in by day 6, and a failed container message if the container has not been scanned-in by day 14.
Rental Timeline
Our rentals are on a 14 day timeline from scan-out to fail
We communicate a 3-day return window to consumers
A rental is considered “late” on day 6, and the consumer will receive a SMS nudge
A rental is considered “failed” on day 14, and the consumer will receive a SMS nudge

OPERATOR EXPERIENCE
Operators use the Topanga.io ScanApp, a downloadable app from the google play store on an android device, to scan-out and scan-in containers.

Laborless scan-in
RFID is Topanga’s passive scan-in technology. As containers pass through the RFID read zone they will be scanned back in. If you are interested in implementing RFID passive scan-in technology reach out to the Topgana.io team.
